10 Years Now: R.I.P. Jam Master Jay

I remember this very day 10 years ago which seems like day before yesterday. It was the beginning of the annual CMJ music marathon. We had a show in the downtown, Soho area with the Cajo! Crew (2 for 5 and Writers Guild) & DJ Mista Sinista (of the X-ecutioners) and got that ‘outta nowhere’ call about the passing of Jam Master Jay (JMJ) of RUN DMC.

That call just gave me a stomach+headache at the same damn time and couldn’t focus after that!
