Scientifik, Termanology, Reks, Krumbsnatcha, Ghetto, Hectic, Sonic, Astro, Lunox & Dramatik – Lawtown’s Finest (Video)

Directed by Mat Dumond

Back around the time when I did college radio over at WUSB 90.1FM, Scientifik had took his own life, after killing his wife. I used to hang with other Massachusetts notables such as The Vinyl Reanimators’ Shawn C (not to be confused w/ Sean C & LV’s Grind Music), Jameison Grillo (Big Daddy Distribution) and DJ Amir (of Kon & Amir/I Love Vinyl crew), who all 3 shared an apartment in Brooklyn. I remember when they all said they were leaving to attend his funeral and the atmosphere was very grim.

Scientifik had a single off his debut album Criminal produced by Prince Rakeem aka The Rza “As Long As You Know” featuring Ed O.G (the producer is the above song/video “Lawtown’s Finest” dedicated to the fallen MC). The LP also had production contribution by D.I.T.C.’s Diamond D and Buckwild and DJ Shame of The Vinyl Reanimators. Rest In Paradise!
