Young Guru unites some of the greatest minds behind the camera by bringing hip hop’s most influential visual genius for another Sound & Vision at 92YTribeca. This segment includes Coodie & Chike of Creative Control, Jason Goldwatch of DECON and Rik Cordero of Three/21 Media.
I can safely say that Rik Cordero knows in fact that my son’s mother and I had a helping hand in his early career establishments way back in our Masterdisk Studios days. This was just before he decided to go full time as a film director, having his hands in multiple areas of creativity such as graphic design, web design, djing and producing. She and I both modeled for his then clothing company AudiOptic and eventually introduced him to his wife, daughter’s mother, and business partner Nancy Mitchell. Rik helped us also in many ways by creating the flyer for our fallen comrade and dear friend Matthew “Optimus Rhyme” Hall, and he also crafted our Cajo Communications/indie label’s 12 inch jacket design for 2for5′s “Broke Minds Think Alike.” Keep up the great work Rik Guyver!!!
